more photos

well i finially finished my engagement photos. i wanted to share a few more with you all. im really hoping to start doing a TON more work, and POSSIBLY for free....so this means PLEASE let me know if you have any photographic needs! ANY. i havnt done any YET, but id love to do kids too. as soon as i get some work to show (this weekend!!) ill post them so you all can see. PLEASE tell your  friends too, it may not be FREE for them, but it will still be CHEAP!

well. this past weekend was a crazy one! it was so fun but SOOO fast. i arrived in baltimore friday night and flew out of baltimore on sunday afternoon. it was nuts. but so nice to see david! we had a great time at the army/navy game. and as most of you football fans SHOULD know, we kicked some army butt!!! yay GOOOO NAVY! yes, i did freeze my butt off, as you can see here:

engagement

no, not me.

i took my friend paiges engagement photos today. of course im not going to post them all. well not yet at least. but i thought id give you all a little taste. incase any of you are engaged...or are in love...or have kids who will some day be engaged...or really you just like me and want to see my work.

i went to Virginia with my wonderful boyfriend. i took some photos to make in to a panoramic. finally it got made today. 

sadly enough david didn't get to model in this one, but his parents did manage to grace the photo.

the weekend went GREAT. it was of course FREEZING! it even snowed a little today while we were diving. but dont worry, my wet suit kept me toasty warm! it was so fun and i just cannot describe to you how awesome it is to swim with the fish!

as far as camping, again freezing, but good. no one was a creeper, and although there was a little alcohol use it never got out of hand and every one respected the fact that i didnt want to participate.

any way, ill have pictures posted as soon as i can. i didnt have MY camera there though (i know, what kind of photographer am i?) so as soon as i get them via email they will be posted.

again, thanks for the prayers if i had time or ENERGY to type out a few of my answered prayers seen through i would love to do it, BUT i have a paper due tomorrow and my BED is calling my name! ill post the stories along with my photos!

i dont know how many of you have discovered this blog yet, but....

for all of you who DONT know, im taking a scuba diving class. im getting my certification trough school, and over all its very exciting. 

to become certified you are required to make an "open water dive" (as in, not in the swimming pool). well SURPRISE that weekend is upon us. tomorrow i leave for my dive.

im not really asking prayers for the dive (although they are of course welcome!!) but more the "weekend" its a 2 day dive, and a 2 night CAMP OUT...yes in a tent. im not SCARED of camping, nor will this be my first time. BUT it IS my first time with strangers. ive been swimming with these people all semester but this weekend i am now slumbering with these people. i have my own tent, but its not like those things have a lock on them.

pray for my safety. and pray for my sanity.

Sewing Machine

for class we have to have a photo that represents "rock steady"...as in use a tripod, and if you dont have one set the camera on a "rock". so i took this photo of the sewing machine with the camera sitting on the other end of the sewing machine. i actually REALLY liked how it turned out. i might crop it, i havnt really decided. any way, enough blabbing, here it is:

for a little enjoyment for your eyes ive decided to post a photo of my very first photoshop experience. its kinda silly, and i dont know if id ever use it in real life, but i was still proud to say i did it.

other than that im just trying to figure this junk out.

I just feel like im the only 12-50 year old that doesnt have either a facebook, a myspace, a blog, or something where i post random stuff and random people look at it.

so im making a "photo" blog. i dont have kids or fun stuff like that, but i am a photographer so i can post some of my photos? maybe some one will like them. and MAYBE some one random will see them, love them, hire me, and pay me butt loads of money to take photos all day every day. i can only hope.
